Dave Rideout holds a BA in Psychology from Memorial University of Newfoundland. He has been working in the mental health field since 1986; as a Discharge Planner at the Waterford Hospital in Newfoundland, as an instructor in the Exploring College and Career Options program at the University College of the Fraser Valley and has 12 years experience as a Career Counselor for mental health consumers in BC and Halifax. In 2005 he received his designation as a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitative Practitioner. Dave has considerable experience presenting at conferences, community groups, and employers on the issues around mental health to promote inclusion and reduce stigma.
